ls

ls

use ls to return the files and directory in your current path (current working directory). for example, from the home ~ directory you may see something like:

user@linux-ch.at$ ls
Desktop Music Templates aspell.conf	buffers.conf javascript
pythonscript         synergy-core    weechat.conf   xfer.conf
Documents  Pictures  Video             autosort.conf

You can specify where you'd like to look by adding specifying the path:

user@linux-ch.at$ ls synergy-core
Build.properties CMakeLists.txt ChangeLog README.md build	cmake debian dist doc ext res src

return all:

ls -a

To see all the flags, View the ls man page.
